StopPlay is an app for parents who want to reduce the time their children spend on iPhone or iPad. StopPlay enables parents to manage the time their children spend on their iOS devices.
Thanks to this app you can easily set up the time of using the device. When the time you have set expires, the application starts sending alerts in small intervals, thus preventing anybody from using the device. For the alarms to stop, you have to use the passcode you set up in the application.
It is very important, that alerts are enabled for StopPlay to work properly. You can enable these in Notification Centre in Settings of your iOS device.
Instructions:
1. Set up your passcode – you can also change your passcode in settings.
2. Set up your email – in case you forget the passcode, a new one will be sent to your email. You can change the email in settings anytime. This email is also used in case you choose to recieve an email when the timer ends.
3. Set up the time of playing, press play and the timer starts.
4. Give the iOS device to your child and they can use it only for the limited time you set, before the alerts start appearing.
5. After the timer expires, you can turn the alerts off using the passcode you created in the app.
